What are you most excited to learn about in first grade:
-Dolphins

What was your favorite part about summer?
-Moving to WV and riding horses at Nana and Pappaws, swimming in the pool and getting to meet Pebbles.

What makes you saddest about summer being over?
-Not being able to swim

What is most exciting about school starting?
-Going to first grade, getting to meet my teacher.

What will you miss most about going back to school?
-Seeing my family

-Meeting new friends

-I'm excited to read and go to the library and gym

-Playing in the pool and playing on the swing set at Nana and Pappaws

-Play with you and daddy!!  Yeah I'm gonna play with you!

What are we going to play?
-Barbies, color, we're going watch movies (Belle and Cinderella) and I wanna play with daddy.  I wanna play Barbies with daddy!

Do you want to go to school?
No because I wanna stay with you!  (gives hug)

What was your favorite part of the summer?
-swimming and I liked going in the sprinkler and when Emma and Addi comed here.

Malia's First Lost Tooth

Malia lost her first tooth today!!

On the Road with Isabella

Driving to WV yesterday for the Strawberry Festival, here are a few things Isabella said to us:

Going through Frankenmuth...
I: We go there one time and I poopied in my pants and that boy was there (Aaron Patterson)!! (true story)

On the road...
I: Daddy can I have a princel (pretzel)?
D: No Bells, not right now.
I: Mommy can I have a princel?
Me: No Bells.
I: You not the boss, Mommy.

It's too tight!!  (her seatbelt)  I eat too much!

I: A bee!!!  A bee!!  I scared bees!!!
Me:  It's  not a bee, it's a fuzzy!

Spring Break

This past week was Malia's spring break. It was a ton of fun! Justin headed out to WV to speak at a church and took Pressley along with him. I stayed home and spent my days hanging out with Isabella and my nights slumber partying with Malia. It was really great having some special one on one time with the girls and also watching Malia and Isabella spend some special time together as well. Isabella and I had a special fun photo shoot day and read tons of books together. Yesterday we wrapped up the day as a family by spending the day in Bay City at the Planetarium, sharing a smoothie and eating lunch/dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings.
