Responsibility

A couple weeks ago at MOPS we talked about fostering independence in your children. I started thinking of things I could have Malia do, now that she's almost 5 that would give her independence and the feeling of some responsibility. She is already a very big help around the house for me...getting me diapers for Isabella, taking things to the trash, feeding Lily, so I thought it was about time to teach her how to make her bed. She has done fantastic with it. She almost always makes her bed every morning. Even after she is done napping she re-makes the bed. I'm so proud of her!
